The Taylors Tawny 20 Years is a magnificent and delicately crafted blend of old tawnies, produced in limited quantities. Selected red Port wines, produced in the eastern areas of the Douro Valley, including Taylors own estates, are aged in oak casks at Taylors cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. There, the cool and humid climate allows for a gentle aging process, producing aromas of great complexity and delicacy. In the Tawny 20 Years, the fruit ultimately becomes more velvety than in the 10 Years, and the spicy and dried fruit aromas, imparted by aging, are more powerful and intense.
