At Quinta da Boavista, to ensure the preservation of the grape variety’s characteristics and total control over the production process, we rely on manual harvesting and hand selection of clusters, followed by destemming and gentle crushing of the berries.
The grape fermentation takes place in new French oak barrels of 500 liters. After a maceration period, the resulting wine continues its aging for 16 months in 225-liter barrels, also made of French oak. All wines are sealed with natural cork. Since they are not filtered or cold stabilized, they may produce sediment with age.
A wine that captivates us with its elegance and vibrant gracefulness.
