The tradition of wine in the Évora region dates back to time immemorial. The Charter that King Manuel I granted to the city in 1501 bears witness to this. The red wines are crafted from the Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, and Aragonez grape varieties, with aging in new barrels of French oak. Very fruity, they exhibit great concentration and youthful exuberance.
